These resources relate to some of the duties and scenarios that practitioners from Medicine, Nursing and Pharmacy will encounter in clinical practice, as well as the professional responsibilities that they must address in practice.
Learning on placements is often opportunistic and raises problems relating to patient care. The ePrePP partners have drawn together a range of resources to assist the student when preparing for tutorials and other small group learning. They are not presented as a complete package of everything that should be learnt on placements but cover some of the competencies required for good clinical practice.
The competency framework can be used to identify learning needs as professionals and practitioners and some of the resources help address the nuances of dealing with patients and colleagues in a professional and knowledgeable manner.
