» Have ongoing student support in place, especially early technical support.
» Inform students of purposes of an ePortfolio, and discuss how it will work in your module/programme
» Carry out a baseline survey of student experience with ePortfolio and other technologies
» Start small and early in the life cycle of a student : have shallow learning curve, and low stakes assessments
» Carry out ongoing formative assessment and evaluation to check how things are going
» Have end-of-course evaluation and course team review
